I feel good about my interview.
I'll find out next week.
I do hope I get it.
If I don't, c'est la vie.
Wasn't meant to be.
Thanks to working the steps of AA
I can accept life on life's terms.
Today, anyway.
Speaking of today,
right around lunch time,
I will be receiving
my 21 year sobriety medallion.
I love my home group.
There will be chocolate cake
of some sort to share with whoever shows up
to celebrate with me.
Wish you could join me.

Holy Moly, Batman. Didja hear that? TWENTY-ONE YEARS. CONGRATULATIONS, HOPE!
21 years is a long time to NOT do something. But in AA we have a "DO SOMETHING" program, which makes 21 years seem like a blip on the screen of life.
I wish we were all there with you today at noon...since that is one hour from now--WE WILL BE, you are in my thoughts. Happy thoughts!

Congrats on the 21 years!! Now that is impressive and inspirational and fills me with much hope!!!
I am so glad to know you have come so far!
Congratulations Miss Hope. 21 years! Ain't it wonderful? Life does just get better and better.
It is also wonderful that you can turn your job interview over to "the Guy in charge" and "go with the flow". Good luck.

21 years!! Woooot! 7665 daily achievements! Wow! My first instinct when I read your post was that you need a bigger reward than cake, but I guess you get a reward every single sober day.
Congratulations, you! :)
Best of luck with the job. I hope you get it too. And congratulations on 21 years! Wow!
Oh Hope how wonderful!
Love
Mary
