A year ago today I had the fine needle biopsy that led eventually to my cancer diagnosis. There are a bunch of little one year dates coming up. I'm trying not to run ahead of myself but I am looking forward to being on the other side of them.
By the time I am we will have celebrated the wedding of only daughter and the birth of our first grandchild (it's a boy!) I am incredibly grateful to be here to witness these milestones.

That's pretty exciting stuff. Best wishes to only daughter and woohoo to the parents and grand-parents to be.
Anniversaries can bring out all kinds of emotions...
Happy "now", Hope....
Amen and amen, Hopester!
It is good to acknowledge those dates because they are there in the back of your mind anyway. I use to ignore them and go around all day wondering why I was depressed for no reason.
Your courageous to be so honest about your feelings I am glad to be a witness to your story.
I hope the one year anniversary will bring some peace to you.
