Wonderful Counselor

"Because without you I am nothing."

I'm praying this as I made my way up to the lectern last night at Mass. I always talk to God as I do this, aware it is not about me, it is about proclaiming God's word, asking God to work through me as I speak. As I took a breath, right after proclaiming these prophetic words of Isaiah, "And he shall be called a heat caught me totally off guard. It started at the top of my head and went all the way through my body. By the time I breathed in and out the heat came and went. Then I read
"Wonderful Counselor,Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace..."
Christmas happened for me right in that moment.

I wish you all a joyous, peace filled Christmas.

Oh, Hope,
I'm so glad you felt that heat and shared it! It's very meaningful to me.

God bless you this Christmas, Hope.

We didn't make it to Mass this year. The blizzard kept us home. It didn't feel like Christmas until Mass came on the TV and we all gathered around and participated as best we could. It's what Christmas is about.

You have a great blog here. It's a very interesting read. I have a blog myself which provides inspiration and guidance to people all around the world. Life is hard enough, and I'm hoping for my blog to be a place where people can go to hear the words the words they need to hear in order to brighten up their day.

I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around. Please let me know if this is possible.

Sincerely,
Jason

In Pentecost many speak of feeling a "heat" pass through them in the moment of either their healing or the act of praying for another's healing. I have never known the experience in either scenario, but believe in it, having known such manifestation in other manner, and I rejoice with you, my friend! Ever, He is faithful....
