"Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another
'What! You, too? I thought I was the only one.'"

Ole!
As I sit here with writing projects on the back burner, trying to figure out how to get to them and do them well, this talk really encouraged me today. I was in tears by the end of it. I hope you enjoy it, too.
Oh, I love her. Thank you for posting this. I am in a sort of creative crisis right now, I hate everything I do, and I want to stop trying. I really needed to hear this.
I replay this talk so often now - because it is encouraging and uplifting and it makes me dare to dream and more - reach for those dreams... i just love Melissa Gilbert!
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Elizabeth Gilbert. I have long known the truth of what she speaks here. In Pentecost, we call it "the anointing" and any preacher, singer, teacher, witness who is sincere in their giving it all to God seeks it in all that they do. I would tell you that I believe it possible to receive on a spiritual level from other than God; but, then, it's all a matter of whom one puts their focus. I would also add that it doesn't necessarily come only to those involved in the Church.
Now I go to check this TED.com out a bit. It looks interesting.....

Ah, Hope, that you so much for sharing this with me.
I could completely relate to what Elisabeth Gilbert was saying.
Although I am a teacher, my dream is to write as well. I understand her fear.
I know I'm never going to be a famous writer, but I continue to put myself out there and 'be all that I can be'.
Thank you for sharing this. I've read Eat, Pray, Love and can't wait for the next installment.
But when I read it, I'll keep this video in mind.
Hugs,
Sue
I loved it Hope. Thanks for such a beautiful message. Ole!

Nicely done. Okay, then. Let's keep showing up. Thanks for this, Hope.

I haven't watched this yet, but I will. I adore TED Talks, and so do my teens. Great stuff on there, huh?
Thank you Hope, for continuing to show up just when I need to hear from you the most.
