When you read this I'll be abed with the flu.
No early morning alarm for me.
No sirree.
Just a headache, fever and nausea.
What fun.
Reading that over makes me realize I typed it
as if the flu was something I was planning to have.
No, it has me.
It kept a low profile all day,
teasing and receding
only to hit full force after I got home.
I can't remember the last time I had the flu.
For that I am truly grateful.
Grateful that the flu is something
that comes along and then goes away.
Life continues.
PS Lest you think the title means I am delirious
I will be laying on the couch
watching the snow fall.
Yes, snow. In May.
That's what the weatherman is forecasting.
Let's hope he's wrong.
Although snow in May won't last long.

If this were not a "recovery" blog, the title LET IT SNOW might have other meanings.
But you are not in the mood for joking.
Know that I/we all are out here thinking of you today, and hoping/praying for a speady recovery.

Sorry to hear. Although I'm finding that being sick isn't as devastating (emotionally or physically) as it used to be. Sobriety gives me strength.
Enjoy the snow...
That kind of double whammy is just too cruel to contemplate! Snow and sickness...I'm not sure which I would wish away first. I do hope you get to feeling better and soon!
I hope you start feeling better soon. Your absolutely right though, at least the flu is something that comes and then goes and life goes on. Feel better, take care of yourself! Better yet, have your dearest take care of you! He just got that nursing degree right? :-)
Hoping you're well again soon.
Oh dear Hope I hope that you recover quickly...drink as much water as you can, have your two babies cuddle you and spoil you and know that we're praying for you to get well quickly!
