She is continually alerting me as to where to turn and when to do it; but, in all honesty, I am very prone to tripping off somewhere in my thoughts as we go and very much in need of the prompting. At the same time, her perspective is way off, due to poor vision, and she is always jerking to reach for an invisible brake, reacting to a collision that is nowhere close to happening...and I'm always brought to a state of immediate panic when she does.....Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13302132941940784968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9520508.post-15874690637700036002010-06-06T18:42:10.720-06:002010-06-06T18:42:10.720-06:00This is a great post. And that it's usually about more than whether to turn right or left. "Sitting in the driver's seat" is such a metaphor for so many of life's challenges, isn't it?Kathy M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17266701533758183054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9520508.post-50424952593722072552010-06-06T16:35:54.801-06:002010-06-06T16:35:54.801-06:00Oh my, I read this post, re-read it, and then spok...Oh my, I read this post, re-read it, and then spoke to my hubby who was sitting on the couch near where my computer desk is, and told him I would like to read something to him. He put down his book and listened to me read your post to him. You even use some of the same words we do and your story is familiar to us both. We too are able to discuss such situations without taking it personally. This is such a good thing. And your post is excellent.CiCihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08615265608675467505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9520508.post-41854488964082190182010-06-06T09:28:25.626-06:002010-06-06T09:28:25.626-06:00Another inspirational post.
