Memoryville

We're off to see a friend from our college days today.
He lives in the city where we went to college
so I imagine we'll stop and see that, too.
Lots of memories to be had.
Dearest one and I met in this city.
He travelled from where we live now
to way down here to meet me for the first time.
We'd been penpals since I was 14 and he 16.
The rest, they say, is history.

That puts over three decades in a very short sentence "the rest, they say, is history", there are a lot of jewels in that history. Missing you, and wishing you a very good time in reminicsing, with old (not aged) friends!!!

Absolutely beautiful. I thank God for the grace he has given you both. I know one other couple who knew each other from their early teens who married and are together today. They were in one of the churches we pastored in the 90s. Today they are in their late seventies.
