Of Mice and Men Part Two

Good thing dearest one doesn't have heart problems. He just opened the cupboard to retrieve a different pair of dish washing gloves only to have a mouse jump out of the pocket of an apron hanging on the cupboard door. Mystery solved. Because of my cat allergies we won't be able to invite one of our feline friends to come dine but mouse traps are on the top of the shopping list.

LOL poor guy. My heart really does go out to him. I hate surprise attacks. Too bad my mom can't come out to stay with you guys for a while. Best mouser this side of the Rockies.

Once when we were teens, my sister and I were surprised by a mouse running out from behind the fridge. Both of us screamed so high and so loudly that the poor mouse lost it's little mouse mind and started running in a tiny circle. Taking pity on the little fella, we both stopped screaming at the same time and said, "Awww...". The moment that the screaming stopped, he abruptly stopped the circling and took the opportunity to escape. Little did he know that he was perfectly safe with the likes of us. With the two of us in charge, he could have completely taken over the house.

Eeewwwwww!
I was afraid you were going to have a cat allergy. I'm so sorry for that. Too bad they don't make eau 'd cat like they do deer smell for hunters. Maybe you could trick the buggers into leaving!

Well, you know I have pity on the little monsters...but I'd have a cat in the house in two seconds flat. Maybe if there are mice in our new house, I can get a kitten...
